Policies for membership include that:

• Any rabbi who is a member of a recognized local or national rabbinic body is eligible for membership;

• Honorary memberships may be awarded upon recommendation of the Board;

• Candidates for membership who do not otherwise qualify may be elected after their name is circulated to the entire membership and after a three-fourths approval of voting members; and

• Auxiliary membership can be extended to ordained cantors serving leadership roles in the community.
